I Care Community Connections is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dependable mental health professionals to join our growing team. We are currently hiring Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and qualified Registered Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Work Interns.
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering the flexibility to create and manage your own schedule while providing meaningful behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

About The Position
Mental Health Therapists at I Care Community Connections provide high-quality, client-centered behavioral health services in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position follows a hybrid service model, allowing eligible services to be provided both in person and through telehealth, based on client needs, clinical appropriateness, payer requirements, and agency guidelines.
Contractors have the flexibility to create their own schedules and manage their availability while maintaining responsibility for their assigned caseload, documentation, communication, and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy within your scope of practice and competency.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and other required evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s needs, strengths, goals, and presenting concerns.
• Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapeutic services.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge summaries, and other required records within established timeframes.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions when clinically appropriate.
• Participate in care coordination with other professionals and service providers when necessary and properly authorized.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, agency staff, and other members of the treatment team.
• Participate in required meetings, supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain all required licenses, registrations, professional liability coverage, certifications, and continuing education requirements applicable to the position.
• Follow all agency policies and procedures, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable federal and Florida laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Active Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC);
- Active Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW);
- Active Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI); or
- Active Florida Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI).
Additional qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or another qualifying behavioral health field.
- Active and unrestricted Florida license or registered intern status, as applicable.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative clinical team.
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and complete documentation within required timeframes.
- Reliable access to technology and a private, HIPAA-compliant environment for telehealth services.
- Professional liability insurance, if required.
- Successful completion of all required background screening and onboarding requirements.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, or diverse populations is preferred.

Employment Classification
This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Contractors are responsible for managing their own schedules and professional obligations in accordance with the independent contractor agreement, applicable payer requirements, clinical standards, and agency policies.
