I Care Community Connections is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and relationship-driven Outreach Coordinator to help expand our presence throughout the community and connect individuals and families with needed behavioral health services.
The Outreach Coordinator will serve as a key representative of I Care Community Connections in the community. This individual will focus on building and maintaining strong referral relationships with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, social service agencies, churches, businesses, and other potential referral partners.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional relationships, attending community events, and helping connect individuals and families with valuable services.
Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

About The Position
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for increasing community awareness of I Care Community Connections and developing sustainable referral relationships throughout our service areas.
This is not a traditional desk-based position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable spending time in the community, visiting organizations, introducing I Care Community Connections to potential referral partners, delivering outreach materials, following up with contacts, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
The Outreach Coordinator will work both independently and collaboratively with leadership to support the growth of the organization and strengthen I Care Community Connections’ presence within the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential referral sources and community partners.
• Conduct regular outreach visits to schools, medical offices, pediatricians, hospitals, social service agencies, community organizations, churches, housing programs, childcare providers, businesses, and other organizations that may serve individuals and families who could benefit from behavioral health services.
• Introduce and educate community partners about the services available through I Care Community Connections.
• Deliver brochures, referral materials, business cards, promotional items, and other approved marketing materials to community partners.
• Identify new referral opportunities, community partnerships, and potential areas for organizational growth.
• Follow up consistently with referral partners and maintain ongoing professional relationships.
• Represent I Care Community Connections at community events, health fairs, networking events, meetings, and outreach activities.
• Assist with planning and coordinating community engagement activities and promotional events.
• Maintain an organized record of outreach activities, contacts, visits, follow-ups, and referral sources.
• Track outreach efforts and provide regular updates regarding new contacts, developing partnerships, referral activity, and community opportunities.
• Communicate feedback from community partners to leadership.
• Support efforts to increase awareness of I Care Community Connections and its available services.
• Assist with distributing approved digital and printed outreach materials.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify priority organizations, communities, and populations for outreach.
• Maintain professional communication and represent I Care Community Connections in a positive, respectful, and ethical manner.
• Protect confidential information and follow all applicable privacy, agency, and professional requirements.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, social services, healthcare, human services, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience in community outreach, marketing, sales, healthcare, behavioral health, social services, business development, or relationship-building is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations with new people and organizations.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage outreach activities effectively.
- Comfortable traveling throughout the community and conducting in-person visits.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Ability to use email, digital calendars, spreadsheets, and other basic business tools.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of local communities, organizations, and resources is a plus.
- Successful completion of all required background screening and onboarding requirements.
